I started my maritime career about twenty years ago and worked on tall ships, yachts, tug boats, cruise ships, oilfield supply vessels, and in the Alaska fisheries from Deadliest Catch crab boats to trawlers over two-hundred feet in length. I’ve worked as a deckhand, cook, mate, chief engineer, and captain. If I could give my younger self some advice it would be to get licenses early and advance fast – but I didn’t have the resources available to me then. That’s why I founded this school; to provide support and answers I couldn’t find elsewhere.

We have several training vessels available for hands on learning, from a sailing dory to a full on traditionally rigged schooner. See what our boat programs have to offer.
